If you are experiencing difficulty connecting with an Outlook Web Access server, please ensure that your browser is set to enable HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections.
The following instructions apply to Internet Explorer 6.0.
  1. Click on Tools then Internet Options
  2. Select the Advanced tab
  3. Scroll down to the HTTP 1.1 section
  4. Ensure that the checkmark is removed from Use HTTP 1.1
  5. Check Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections
  6. Click OK
Please note as a security precaution you will automatically be logged off your OWA session after 30 minutes of inactivity. Please ensure any unfinished messages are saved as the session will not be saved automatically.

When you are finished using Outlook Web Access, please ensure that you:

  • Click the "Log Off" icon at the bottom of the "Shortcuts" panel – and completely exit the browser.

Not performing these "shut down" steps will result in your e-mail being available to the next user of this workstation. OWA Usage is governed under Rogers Polices CS-1 (Computer Access) and CS-3 (Use of Electronic Media).
